This was the summer of incredible weddings. Golden light, warm, breezy days, and beautiful couples. This perfectly-matched pair were married at their church, and did portraits at a park nearby.

Senior portraits for this Marist High School senior—whose sister you can find on our 2023 Best of Blog Post—were about celebrating both his style and interests. From a few different parks around the corner from his close-to-campus home (where we captured both him and his favorite dog, Bear) to the nearby tennis courts, this high school senior shined—and this professional series being among some of our favorites.

High school seniors this year seemed to share an appreciation for their Ducks—this gorgeous senior being among them! In addition to capturing her with her proud ride (a red beauty) with one of her best friends, her sisters and niece in a nearby park, she had this moment on campus that we love.

From the rose garden to downtown, this family brought both the sweet and edgy vibe. This clean, minimalist, and bold look were all of our favorites—now proudly adorning the walls of their home.

A wedding cape? Yes, please. Look at this gorgeous cape toss and equally gorgeous couple. Married at Diamond Hill Events outside of Eugene, in Harrisburg, this couple celebrated in full theme: Star Wars style.

This cross country athlete from South Eugene High School got a mountain-top high experience, complete with foamy, low clouds at sunrise with his family—a breathtaking view—a stop on the Amazon trail, and at his favorite local bookstore too.

Headshots shouldn’t be boring. This beautiful performer and realtor cranked up the interest with her branding images—and absolutely inspires!

This team of luxury experts at Jennifer James, Inc. brought unmatched energy and class. In addition to their individual headshots, we find this group portrait perfectly striking.

This Junction City High School senior did it all: modern, sporty, and sweet. From downtown alleys to fields and river-side banks at Mt Pisgah, this vibrant senior dazzled.

Surprise! A wedding! From engagement portraits… to so much more! What a wonderful, thrilling day this was! From an edgy, urban moment with veil and jacket tossing to a sweet ceremony shared with an intimate set of family and friends at Owen Rose Garden, this day was an absolute highlight for us!

A sports-savvy senior from Sheldon High School showed it off during his senior portraits—on the field and off!

Landscape photography took on a different feel this year, as Heather Mills took the Portuguese and Spanish landscape in by foot: by way of the Camino de Santiago. She’ll tell you carrying the additional 4 pounds of camera weight was a difficult thing over the 200 miles, but just wait: she’ll be tackling the Wicklow Way (another hike-through trek, in Ireland) this coming year—with camera in hand once again.

This dreamy vow-renewal was celebrated by those near and far in an intimate setting at Loloma Lodge up the McKenzie River. While the embers glowed in the lodge’s fireplace, speeches and toasts of gratitude and love were shared.

This sweet duo has been a favorite at Heather Mills Photography for years. You can find this special mama featured in our Best of 2023 and Best of 2021 Blog Posts too!

We started 2024 off right—with this beautiful trio! What a special day it was, sharing moments of laughter and smiles at Bohemia Park in Cottage Grove, just south of Eugene, and at this historic covered bridge too.

A health and fitness expert who walks the walk? This babe. She is all business—with a goal to inspire others. You can be assured our team walked away wow-ed at both her strength and savviness.

An undergraduate degree is a milestone to celebrate! This accomplished gal celebrated in the weeks before graduation with images both her and her family could enjoy—and share!

On a perfect late summer day, this family session included their pup, Molly, who took a moment to steal the show!

This radiating senior from South Eugene High School had a mountain-top high senior portrait experience too, starting here, at the infamous Skinner’s Butte, before later heading to campus and her favorite record store too.

Building a brand takes strong imagery. And this fabulous businesswoman, while constructing a new website, was ready to stand out. At her custom home, we used a variety of spaces to create stand-out images—indoor and out.
